Driving Brooklyn
Brooklyn's brownstone blocks are narrow and alternate-side parking is unforgiving, and a stretch limousine cannot turn onto most of the numbered streets in Park Slope or the lanes off Court Street. We dispatch appropriately sized vehicles and stage on the avenues — Seventh, Fifth, Court or Atlantic — for pickups on the interior blocks.
For airport runs we take the Prospect Expressway to the Belt for JFK and the BQE for LGA; from Bay Ridge and Sunset Park we use the Gowanus and the Verrazzano-Outerbridge combination for Newark rather than fighting the tunnels.
North Brooklyn is its own problem: Williamsburg and Greenpoint pickups near the bridge approach and McGuinness Boulevard back up badly at rush hour, so we build in the extra time rather than pretending the BQE is a fixed number.
