Driving Staten Island
Staten Island is the only borough where every trip out crosses a toll bridge, and which bridge you take changes the price and the time by a lot. Newark is the closest major airport at twenty-five to forty-five minutes over the Goethals, and it is almost always the smarter connection than JFK from the South Shore.
For Manhattan we take the Verrazzano and the Gowanus rather than the ferry, and for JFK we run the Belt from the Brooklyn side. All of those tolls are inside the flat rate we quote you.
South Shore neighborhoods — Tottenville, Great Kills, Annadale — are driveway pickups with room for a stretch or a coach; St. George and the North Shore near the ferry terminal are not, so we stage on Bay Street and text the meeting point.
